OneAIM are currently recruiting for a  HR Transformation Project Manager for 6 months with extensive operational and delivery experience in the nuclear or other highly regulated industry. The role is for a recently awarded Operational Site Wide Contract for Sellafield Limited.

OneAIM (a joint venture between Interserve and Wood Plc), is a partnering type contract, inclusive with the client Sellafield Limited and as such you will be expected to work seamlessly and collaboratively with the customer managing both on and off-site teams within the Cumbria area.  Diplomacy, tact and collaboration are the corner stones of stakeholder relationship development. 

Transformation Project

  • Approximately 440 people – with circa 50% employed directly by Interserve or as ASW’s by Interserve  (including circa 150 blue collar employees)
  • Highly unionised environment, critical union relationships
  • Period of significant change – IR35, OSW contract extension(s), ownership changes for JV Partner

The range of activities required during the proposed 6 month project period include:

  • Development and mentoring of account management team to take control of HR processes
  • Development, collation and roll out of clear consistent HR guidance to the account management team (linked to both Wood and Interserve HR processes)
  • Support for resolving the current level of significant  ‘grievances’ faced by OneAIM
  • Support for HR relationship development with recognised unions, with Sellafield HR and with Wood/Jacobs HR

Education and Experience

  • Degree educated in HR.
  • Ideally a successful candidate shall have experience of project managing HR processes and business changes.
  • A track record of delivering a portfolio of projects.
  • Development, Implementation and Improvement of HR Processes.

Training / Key Skills

  • Evidence based confirmation of Continued Professional Development.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make rational decisions when under pressure.
  • Computer literate including MS Office.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to manage change.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff including supporting development, coaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent Organisational skills.
  • Initiative – demonstrates the ability to use own initiative.
  • Demonstrable track record of being customer focused.
  • Proactive – anticipates problems and shows initiative for problem-solving and generating new ideas.
